Company History

Makhunga Cranes and Engineering cc was founded in 2009 by an extremely motivated Annalise Brown and Christopher Brown. The couple first moved to Richards Bay in the early 2000 to for full their life-long dream and passion of starting their own business. Given the opportunity to make a fresh start and do something creative, they decided to make a career out of something that could be extremely challenging as it is not common for a female to own and enter the Crane Industry.
The first steps into the Crane Industry were motivated by the take-over of an existing Crane Company.
Even with its tremendous stress, success was forthcoming due to extreme motivation and dedication. Makhunga Cranes and Engineering remains a small family-owned and -operated business.
Makhunga’s products and services are of the highest quality as Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.
