Services

  • Maintenance and Repairs: - We provide our clients with regular maintenance and emergency repair services. 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our committed staff members are on 24-hour stand-by in the event of an unforeseen breakdown. Proper inspection and follow up maintenance save time and capital which in turn leads to less/minor problems being detected prior to them leading to major breakdowns and down time.
  • Hoist and Crane Remanufacturing: - This, in most instances being a more cost-effective alternative to replacing your damaged Hoist/Crane.
  • Installation, testing, and modernization (modernization plans can be established to improve productivity) of any/all lifting equipment: - This includes Overhead Cranes, Portal Cranes, Jibs, Monorail systems, the replacement/installation of rail systems, Disassembly and Disposal. “Time is Money” is no cliché when it comes to material handling equipment. Outdated products could lead to slower production it is therefore suggested that our clients speak to one of our well-trained technicians which have passed various trade tests & rigorous training programs to modernize existing systems.
  • Load testing / Crack Testing: - This being fundamental in the lifting industry. All load testing is done by qualified and experienced professionals. Any/all load bearing equipment should be tested and/or visually inspected to ensure compliance with the OSH Act and the safety of all parties. It is imperative that an all-round inspection be completed before the actual load test to ensure that all parts are ready to withstand the full capacity. Examples of various equipment being Load Tested and visually inspected are: - Chain Blocks, Lever Hoists, Air Hoists, Electric Chain Blocks, Snatch Blocks/Pulley Blocks, Winches, Lifting Beams, Skips, Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Truck Mount Cranes and many more. Preceding the Load Test, a certificate (failed or passed) would be issued by the Inspecting officer.
  • Reports: - Provision is made on each Load Test Certificate (whether it has passed or failed) for a report from the LMI. Suggestions/recommendations are made by the respective inspector to ensure the full compliance of the specific equipment. A safety file is similarly opened for all tested equipment. This would enable Makhunga Cranes and Engineering cc as well as the customer to keep suitable records of their tested equipment. Our inspection reports are presented in a clear and concise format to avoid confusion.
